Remmber Ibrahim?: 12-years-old boy whose parents were killed by Boko Haram in Borno enrolls in primary school


12 years-old Ibrahim Muhammad became an orphan after his parents were killed by Boko Haram insurgents in Mafa town area of Borno state. But unfortunately he fled with others and arrived at Muna garage camp in Maiduguri where alone he strives to survive. Ibrahim enrolled as a primary four pupil at the camp school.
He hopes to be successful in life. UNICEF supports Ibrahim and other children in a similar situation to complete their primary education.


"So far, UNICEF has established 318 schools and Temporary Learning Spaces in internally displaced persons camps and host communities with about 150,000 pupils, provided with basic instructional materials including school bags and over 70,000 girls have received school uniforms in Borno state"
