...Thousands of Orphans and Vulnerable Children benefit from Governor M.A Abubakar’s Humanitarian Gesture
As part of his administration’s commitment to improving the social welfare/well being of all and sundry in the state, Governor Mohammed A Abubakar has yet again proved he is a leader for all especially the less privileged.
Earlier today several bags of food items including rice, millet, sugar and semovita as well as clothes were secured and already distributed to thousands of Orphans and Vulnerable Children from 9 Local Government Areas of the State as part of the first batch of the programme. The programme, which is coordinated under the Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children Agency, aims at helping the less privileged children and making them feel loved and cared for especially in this Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Local Governments that benefited in the first tranche include Katagum, Misau, Gamawa, Shira, Giade, Dass, Tafawa Balewa, Dambam and Toro. All the wards in the Local Governments will equally benefit.
