Yobe State Government Begins June Salary Payments

H.E Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam has given approval for the payment of workers' salaries for the month of June, 2017.
Already, the Ministry of Finance has made payments to banks and workers shall begin to receive payment alerts from their banks from later today.
The approval also covers the payment of retiree pensions for the month.
The measure is meant to ensure that workers and their families could celebrate Eid-el-Fitr which marks the end of the Ramadan fast with some ease.

The early payment of salaries for the month segue closely with what the Gaidam administration has been doing since inception - making sure that workers smile home with their salaries at the end of every month without fail.
The June salary payments also came at a time that the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting, which disburses funds to federal, state and local governments, has yet to even begin for the month's disbursements.
That the Yobe State Government, under H.E Gov. Gaidam, has never for once failed to pay its workers, and continues to pay  them regularly while executing numerous development projects in healthcare, education, road, agriculture, etc., goes to show the degree to which Governor Gaidam adheres to a regime of financial discipline and a resource management style that is demonstrably prudent and transparent.
