Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the appointment of Dr. Abubakar A. Koko as Chief Medical Director of the Kebbi Medical Centre, Kalgo.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari quotes, the Head of Civil Service Alhaji Abubakar Udu Idris as saying, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Born in 1962 in Koko Town, Kebbi State, Dr. Abubakar Koko obtained his MBBS in 1989 at the Medical Academy Sofia Bulgaria, specializing in pediatrics in 2000 at the Medical University Sofia, Bulgaria.
He served as Medical Director Fati Lami Women and Children Hospital, head of Clinical Services Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital Birnin Kebbi and Executive Chairman Kebbi State Primary Health Care Development Agency.
